TBC is partnered up with the Atlanta Pet Rescue in an effort to help find these wonderful animals forever homes! Each week, we will be promoting a “Pet of the Week” that is in need of a loving home.

This week’s “Pet of the Week” is Murray an adorable 5 year old male Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen Blend.

We have all heard the expression making lemons into lemonade. Murray is an amazing and loyal boy. He has so many good qualities, but also some issues that will need work once he is adopted. That’s why we are looking for a home for him that has the right ingredients to turn this lemon into lemonade!

Murray’s strong points:

*House trained

*Crate trained

*Very loyal once he is comfortable with his people

*Playful

*Loves outdoor activities

*Loves attention, but isn’t overly needy

Murray’s issues that will need to be worked on:

*He can be leash reactive

*He can be protective of “his people” and his home

*Needs time to warm up to strangers

The type home Murray is looking for:

*Adults only

*No cats or dogs in the household

*A home willing to continue behavior modification and training at home with him

*No apartments

Murray has worked very hard with his behavior modification. He is also working on entering the sport of K9 Nosework. Murray’s adopters will have a world of support at their fingertips.
